Artisans on Main is composed of members of The Clayworkers Guild of Illinois, who use clay, glass and painting as an expressive medium. The artists strive to aid, encourage, advise and work together to support each other and our community.

Material Things Artisan Market, a stop on the 2025 Autumn Art Tour, will have 3 artisans representing their work from 11am to 3pm! Local painter Lynn Krause, woodworker Steve Brackett and jeweler Candy Milan will have newly created pieces exclusively for this event. Each will demonstrate their art and offer a Q & A session. Come check out their creations and the work of 80+ artisans

Raymond Beth
Raymond creates signature style Mosaic, Copper Foil and Mixed Media stain glass pieces utilizing old, repurposed window/picture frames. His unique artwork uses recycled items, shells, stones, beads and metal art. Notably, his smaller pieces still follow copper foil designs.

Esther Aron
The content of Esther’s work is derived from her curiosity about human consciousness and the underlying forces that animate all natural phenomena. Her artwork/designs are created in paintings and mixed media utilizing collage, 3D elements, and kinetic structures.

Lucia Manke
Handcrafted treasures with a personal touch. Lucia creates unique macrame plant hangers, wall art and dolly pot planters…a “one-of-a-kind” piece of art. She also offers custom commissions in macrame, pet memorial watercolor paintings, needle felting, and distinctive wedding/party décor. Every creation is designed to celebrate life’s moments in a truly unforgettable way.

Karen Stahlecker aka Willoaks Studio
Karen designs wearable ART jewelry. She is also a watercolor artist. Her jewelry creations are unique utilizing sterling silver, copper, gold-filled metalwork, leather, silk, beads and “kiln fired” enamels with images inspired by nature. Come and see her jewelry and her delightful watercolor paintings.

With a foundation in anthropology, art history and Art, Trisha specializes in capturing the vitality and spirit of nature through her photography. Her passion lies in revealing the quiet magic of natural moments and capturing the energy of life as it unfolds, preserving the heartbeat of celebration in every frame.

Gail Moreland
Gail’s photographs of landscapes and still-life objects/scenery speak to a connection with the land and the hidden beauty in commonplace settings. Come and see the beauty she has captured.

Daniel Bliss
Daniel carves intricate designs into ostrich eggshells…a sight to behold! Additionally, he is a master of Linocut Prints – a type of “relief printing.” This artform involves carving designs into sheets of linoleum, applying ink to the uncarved surface and then pressing paper onto the linoleum to create beautiful prints.

Stephanie Cascio
Stephanie is a self-taught watercolor artist. Watercolor landscapes are where she feels most at home but likes to explore other subject matter as
well. She strives to create art that is accessible and celebrates the simple beauty of our local landscapes.

Meghan Martin & Tenley Ann Martin
Here we have a mother/daughter collaboration. They design one-of-a-kind items using new and repurposed mixed metals, resin and beads. These pieces are created using a “hand stamping” method that when finished provides a beautiful texture to the piece.

Erin Denk
Erin is a retired Art Therapist with a B.A. in journalism and art along with an M.A. in art therapy. At one time she attended a painting class at MCC and was introduced to “encaustic painting” which is the ability to create textures, colors and shapes with the elasticity of oil and wax. This continues to be her focus in her cold wax and oil paintings on wood panels. Erin is interested in manipulated layers of paint that create a visual landscape of space in which the viewer can enter.
